Giuliana's 7 Month Update!

 Giuliana's 7 months!
Well, 7 1/2 by this point :)

We're over the hump and are officially closer to the one year mark then we are to her arrival. This makes me a little sad. I am excited to continue to see Giuliana grow and explore and experience all the other "firsts" that have yet to come. But I also LOVE the age she is at now. She isn't mobile enough to want to be exploring and this means that cuddling with mommy is still her favorite thing to do. Cuddling with Giuliana makes my heart do flips. Yes, my 7 month old doesn't sleep through the night and she needs to be rocked to sleep but I know there will come a point when she won't want to do those things and this is why I don't push it :)

This month we officially have a crawler! She is all over the place! We had  resorted to placing pillows along her favorite "climbing" places but now that she wants to go straight to walking those are no longer working.

 

We started introducing solids to Giuliana when she was 6 months and have continued to introduce different fruits and vegetables to her. She was a bit picky at first but she has actually turned into a pretty good eater. Her favorites are carrots, avocado and pear.

Look at that bed head! I love waking up to this happy girl every morning!

Last month my cousin Jenn and her kids visited from Washington. They hadn't met Giuliana yet and many of us had not seen them in a few years so we got together, along with some of our other cousins and had a picnic.
