In April, Mauricio celebrated his 35th birthday. We decided to take a trip to the LA Beer Fest which is held at Sony Studios in Culver City. We invited our neighbors to join us, picked up some cupcakes and birthday candles and jumped into a limo and headed down to celebrate! There were tons of breweries and yummy food trucks. For Mauricio's Birthday I got him a bbq. We had been talking about purchasing one for this summer and I thought it would be a perfect gift for him. Bella got him some grilling accessories :) The weekend after Mauricio's birthday was Easter and we hosted our very first holiday! Mauricio was able to use his bbq for the first time and cooked a yummy lamb (or so I'm told!) and I made a mint dipping sauce to along with it. It was nice to have our families (almost everyone, Daddy, Chuckie and Vihaney weren't able to make it) with us in our new home. Here is a picture from Easter...
And upcoming is our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! I can't believe how fast this year went by! We'll post some pictures from our anniversary next month!
