We [heart] Post It Notes.

I am huge fan of Sex and the City and I always laugh at the episode when Carrie gets dumped by Berger on a post it note. Mauricio and I have a different relationship with post it notes. We love them! and they are very present in our home. Both of us have to prepared to find a post it note anytime anywhere. Let me show you what I mean :)

This morning Mauricio left for Vegas. When I woke I found these hiding throughout the house.

This post it note was left on the mirror in the bathroom. What a nice way to wake up!



I sleepily wandered over to the fridge to get some orange juice and I was surprised by another note placed in the fridge.


I was surprised by one last post it note when I was coming home from the market today and noticed this noted on the stairway.


Our love for post its was even incorporated into our engagement. Mauricio had retreived a dessert menu from the restaurant we had our first date at and customized it with our picture and a proposal on a post it. So as you see Carrie from SATC experienced a very sad relationship ending post it but we have transformed the post it note into a way to sneakily express our love for each other!



Now Mauricio wasn't the only sneaky one. Since Mauricio is still driving to Vegas he has yet to figure out that I have hid my own post it notes in his luggage :) One in his eyeglass case, one in his sock, one in his shoe and one in his dress pant pocket!
