Giuliana's Baby Dedication

Last night we celebrated Giuliana's dedication to our Lord. It was at 6:30 pm...right in the middle of her bedtime so we new she had to take all of her naps to make sure she wasn't a crank monster during the ceremony. Of course, it didn't work out that way. She got 1 out of the 3. She was so exhausted but there were so many people and so much excitement that she just had to be apart of it all! We had our families over for dinner prior to the ceremony then all met at our church for pictures. Even though she was tired she behaved very well. She got a little chatty but was a happy little girl for us. Score!

 Giuliana's dress was very special. It was the dress my mom had bought for me to be baptized in. As a baby I was hospitalized for pneumonia and was baptized in the hospital and never got to wear the dress. My mom saved the dress for 28 years...still with the Montgomery Ward tags on it. I was so happy to see my little girl in the same dress for her Dedication.

As part of the ceremony Mauricio and I had to write a letter to Giuliana, record it and it played while we were up on the stage. Our church made this beautiful gift for Giuliana. They framed our pictures with the prayer so we can hang up in her room.
