Growing up my mother and I would peruse the aisles at the store mumbling to each other "I could make that." And here in my adult life I find myself a DIY-er and credit this to my creative and crafty mother! Like many of you, I am addicted to Pinterest! Here are a few of my Pinterest projects...
I had purchased this fabric months ago with the intention of making an apron and never got around to it. So I finally pulled out the sewing machine my mother bought me for Christmas and this cute fabric and created some burp cloths for Baby M!
Baby M's closet is full. Yes, I know, she's not even here yet but baby clothes are just so darn cute! With all of her clothes I decided we needed some type of closet organization. I needed closet dividers. But as I scoured the internet for the perfect dividers I only came across generic dividers that just didn't match Baby M's nursery so I headed to Pinterest again and found a tutorial that would allow me to make my own. I absolutely LOVE how they came out and have made Baby M's closet much easier to navigate.
I found this on Pinterest as well to help with the noise the door handle makes when entering Baby M's room. A little bit of felt and ribbon and I had successfully made a door muff for all those nights we silently try to creep into her room to check on her :)
Like I said before, baby clothes are just so darn cute! I already have Baby M's outfits planned through Christmas :) These two are a few of my favorite items I have for Baby M.
Mauricio and I really like our Toms shoes so it's only natural that Baby M have a pair of her own...Pink Glitter of course :)
I am obsessed with baby legwarmers! How adorable would Baby M be in these at Daddy's soccer games?
How far along? 38 weeks
Total weight gain: 31+ lbs
Maternity clothes? Oh yea
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Sleeping is pretty difficult. Between some major lower back and pelvic pain and getting up to use the restroom multiple times a night sleep is pretty scarce these days. Preparation for what's to come I assume :)
Best moment this week: Starting maternity leave! Now I can wait in the comfort of my own home for Baby M to arrive.
Miss Anything? Sushi and Apricot Beer
Movement: All.The.Time. I tell you, this little girl will be an awesome soccer player like her daddy!
Food cravings: Milk! It's a little ridiculous :) and sweets!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I'm pretty picky about chicken lately
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: An increase in Braxton hicks and some major pelvic pressure. Baby M is already head down so she can make her grand entrance.
Symptoms: Oh yes...
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On, but I did have to remove my wedding and anniversary bands. My hands are definitely too swollen for all 3 of them but I am thankful I can still wear my ring.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Baby M's arrival! I am so excited to meet her!
