Goodbye 2010. Hello 2011.

As I was waiting for Mauricio to get home from work last night I found myself thinking about how great 2010 was to us and and am filled with excitement when I think about the gifts 2011 will bring to us. Although, we were blessed with an abundance of blessings this year I'd like to share my top 3 from 2010...

1. I married my best friend! On June 5 I found myself saying I Do! to the most supportive and loving man. He makes me laugh so hard I find myself in tears. He weathers the bone chilling winds to take Bella out so I can sleep in on my days off. He puts up with my constant need to decorate, plan, entertain, in THEMES. As most of you know, I can't just let something be...everything "needs to go with the theme." AND he gives me over 50% of the closet :)

2. Home Sweet Home. As if planning a wedding isn't stressful enough...we closed escrow and moved into our new home in Santa Clarita 1 week prior to our big day. Our home is perfect for the two of us and Bella. I love our Peacock Teal painted wall. I love our, not one...but TWO balconies. I love our three closets. I love our bathtub. Lastly, I love having a garage!

3. Bella. I'm sure Mauricio was about ready to strangle me if I whined, "I want a puppy" one more time. After we returned from our honeymoon my mom suggested we see if Bella could live with us. I was hesitant. Although Bella was my dog I was concerned that she would be depressed with the extreme change in "house activity". Let's face it, my parent's house has a variety of toddlers in and out of the house from 6am to 6pm daily and 5 adults and Roxy. Hardly compareable to Mauricio and I. Nonetheless, we thought we'd give it a shot. After 1 week we were sold. Bella tells us, yes she tells us, when she needs to go outside. I find myself playing hide and seek with her while I am waiting for Mauricio to get home from work. She definitely belongs in Los Angeles. We take her to the Lake, the Beach, and the Mountains.
What were your favorite moments of 2010??
