Im obsessed...

...with the Twilight Series!! Since I can rarely make time to read for pleasure during the school year I thought I would enjoy a book or two before Fall semester starts in a few weeks. Mauricio let me borrow The Kite Runner and I figured would start it Monday and have a good book to read for our upcoming trip to Palm Springs this weekend.

I finished The Kite Runner on Tuesday.

Wednesday evening Mama and I went to Target. A coworker had recommended the Twilight Series but I haven't been interested much in stories of vampires and werewolves. I had heard from some of my sorority sisters that they just couldn't put the book down and had to immediatly began reading the next book in the series. So...I thought I'd give it a try...I bought the first book in the series...Twilight. I started reading as soon as I got home and I really liked it. I couldn't put it down! Unfortunately I had to work at 7 the next morning so I put my book down to get some rest. I got to work before 7am so I could read in my car before i started working...then I read practically my whole shift. After making reservations for the same company for 5 years I could easily read while making a reservation.

I finished Twilight on Wednesday evening.

After finishing my book on Wednesday I immediatly went to Walmart to buy the second book...New Moon. I started reading when I got home around 6:30 and didn't go to bed until I finished the book.

I finished New Moon at 2:30 am on Thursday morning.

I'm addicted. I decided I needed to take a break if i wanted a good book to take with me to Palm Springs. But just a short break. I went to the mall this morning then headed to Target to buy the next book. This timeI was going to be smart...I bought book 3 and book 4. This way I would save myself a trip :)

I strongly recommend this series. It's a complicated and dangerous love story between a vampire and a human. I find myself completely enamored with the challenges and complete happiness their love brings each other in a nearly impossible situation
